Pastor David E. Johnson
David Johnson received the calling to the ministry of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ in 1994 and began preaching the uncompromising truth of God in Columbus, Ohio. Shortly thereafter, the Lord had opened up a tremendous opportunity for Elder Johnson to preach to an international audience through his own weekly television show on the Trinity Broadcasting Network (TBN) called “Victory is Mine”. It was through this experience that God instilled into Elder Johnson the love of ministering the word to various groups through a wide assortment of mediums such as radio and television, workshops and seminars, and by preaching in churches throughout the nation.
It was through his calling that he met his future wife Tracey when he was asked to speak at the church she attended. He later proposed to her while preaching during a New Year’s Eve service. He and Tracey were married and God eventually called Elder Johnson to be the Pastor of GOOD SOLDIER CHURCH AND OUTREACH MINISTRIES in October of 2003.
Elder Johnson received his Masters degree in Business Administration in 2002. He is a published author and continues to conduct workshops and write programming on various topics including communication, diversity, stress management, quality performance and relationships from a biblical perspective.
Pastor Johnson is currently pursuing his doctorate in Religious Studies from Golden State University.
He and his wife Tracey live in Columbus and have six wonderful children, and a precious grandson.
Evangelist Tracey Johnson
From almost the very beginning after accepting Christ, God has given Evangelist Tracey Johnson a servant’s heart. Soon after receiving salvation, she became active by volunteering for various events held by her church and took on the clerical responsibilities. God exalted her and she was hired as Church Administrator, and became instrumental in creating various programs such as bringing a food pantry, and having the church certified as an official fee-waiver site for GED education with the State of Ohio.
While serving God and working in her ministry, she met her husband. He was a visiting minister who’d preach on occasion at the church she attended. Soon after he joined, they began working together on administrative training for church leadership and programming. He and Tracey were married and God eventually called her husband, Elder Johnson to be the Pastor of GOOD SOLDIER CHURCH AND OUTREACH MINISTRIES in October of 2003.
In addition to now being an Evangelist and Church Administrator with Good Soldier Church and Outreach Ministries, Evangelist Tracey is the Director of New Creature Deliverance and Recovery Programming (Christ-centered deliverance (recovery) programming addressing issues with addiction). In her walk she has been called to counsel people in the areas of deliverance from addiction. It is not unusual to find her witnessing to someone on the streets who others may tend to ignore.
Evangelist Tracey is also the Director of Good Soldier's Love Thy Neighbor Services. LTNS's mission is to help in meeting the Linden Community residents' natural needs by educating them on services that are available and holding resource events to bring organizations and agencies into the community.
Although Evangelist Tracey’s preference is to work behind the scenes, God has opened doors for her to evangelize and minister the Word of God at Good Soldier Church, numerous other church assembles and events, as well as at women’s homeless shelters.
Evangelist has her B.A. in Political Science from The Ohio State University. Tracey and her husband live in Columbus, Ohio and have six children and one grandson.
